The Way of Paman was founded by Marc Glave, an independent writer and creator who grew up reading comics in secret—an experience that fueled a lifelong passion for visual storytelling. The Way of Paman encompasses an expanding universe, dedicated to crafting raw, unfiltered, and deeply human sagas.

While our narratives center on Black leads, Black culture, and real-world societal dynamics, The Way of Paman is built for everyone who loves complex heroes, anti-heroes, villains, bold visuals, and thought-provoking world-building.

Dark Sentinel: Origins follows Daniel Stowers, a Black vigilante operating in a city on the precipice of civil war following widespread public outrage against police brutality. Driven by rage and unhealed trauma, Daniel stalks the rooftops seeking out the Police Officer responsible for his parents' deaths. The series asks whether catharsis and rage can lead to true justice, or if revolution must always be painted in blood.

Dark Sentinel deals with mature, gritty themes including vigilante violence, trauma, lethal force, and social conflict. Because the narrative presents an intense, unfiltered look at vengeance and morality, it is recommended for mature audiences.
