WHO IS THE DARK SENTINEL?

8-year-old Daniel Stowers witnessed his parents being murdered by a police officer during the Black Lives Matter protests against police brutality and systemic racism. Left unconscious, he was found by Percy Howard, a former militant activist from the late 60’s and 70’s. Taken in by Percy, he was trained in various disciplines from hand-to-hand combat to corporate espionage by members of the group that Percy led: SAAM - The Strategic Alliance for the Advancement of the Marginalized.

He became ward to the financier of the group, Native American billionaire Tom Phillips, and heir to a vast fortune upon Tom's death. SAAM sought to place him in the midst of their adversaries to create change from the inside. Things didn’t go according to plan.

Using his training in martial arts, his intelligence, intellect, mastery of technology, and his vast fortune, he takes to the streets at night to seek vengeance against the corrupt police officer who took everything from him. He isn’t trying to save anyone. He isn’t trying to do good. All he seeks is his pound of flesh. But is revenge ever justified? Can rage truly ever be sated?
